Manager - New Material Development
Adam is a 33-year veteran of the polypropylene business. After earning his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering at Princeton University, he started his career with Himont (now Lyondell Basell) in 1988, in the polypropylene business unit. After 10 years polymerizing PP, he moved downstream to the technical custom compounder, Washington Penn, where he spent the next twelve years heading up their technology efforts in the United States, before moving to Europe to take over operations there in 2011. As his expat Managing Director assignment expired, he chose to localize in Europe, where he led the technical group at the Slovakian plant for 5 years. Recently, he has taken on a new role, managing new material development worldwide for the company.
