François Thibeau graduated as Civil Engineer in Material Sciences from the Université Catholique de Louvain – UCLouvain (Belgium) in 1993 and got a business administration degree in 1994. 

Throughout his past 25 years of experience, François has held technical and marketing positions managing strategic businesses in the downstream petrochemical industry on an international scale. 

After an experience as process engineer in the glass industry, he joined Ampacet Europe S.A. in October 1997 as Technical Service Representative for Benelux and United-Kingdom. 

In 1999, François was assigned as Market Manager for the BOPP masterbatch market covering the EMEA region. He has developed Ampacet presence on the European, Middle-Eastern and Russian BOPP film markets. 

From April 2007 till December 2014, François held the position of Global Business Manager in charge of the masterbatch business for the worldwide BOPP film market. 

As of January 2015, François is Ampacet Strategic Business Manager for the European film market in charge of developing the market of masterbatches for the oriented and non-oriented film applications. 

In 2018, François took also in charge the European coordination of Ampacet R3 masterbatch portfolio, addressing the packaging circular economy requirements. 

In 2020, in-line with Ampacet market diversification strategy, François added the management and development of Ampacet masterbatch for the Electrical & Electronic Equipment segment.
