Evonik’s plastic portfolio consists of liquid and solid products (e.g. additives, additive masterbatches and porous carriers for additives) and is based on organic chemistry or organo-modified siloxanes and provides solutions for many different plastic technologies along the Plastic Industry’s value chain. 

The portfolio consists of TEGOMER® and TEGOPREN® performance and processing additives which help to improve mechanical properties or pigment and filler dispersing. ACCUREL® additive masterbatches offer the possibility to turn liquids into solids. This broad range of additives supports many plastics applications, including the dispersion of color pigments and the antistatic treatment of polymeric material by improving scratch resistance and the surface smoothness properties of polymers.

It is an amorphous poly-alpha-olefin (APAO) based on ethylene, propylene and 1-butene combining amorphous and crystalline structural elements on the polymer chain leading to excellent compatibility of many polyolefins. This enables recyclers, converters and polymer manufacturers to improve impact strength, morphology and applicability of their polyolefin grades.
