With the Sappi Symbio products we are expanding our biomaterial offerings to Cellulose fibre enhanced plastics. Currently the product is based on PolyPropylene and it can be supplied in concentrated form with a cellulose fibre concentration of 50%. The very high stiffness, low density, natural mat look, soft and warm touch, good acoustic properties and excellent scratch resistance make the Sappi Symbio products very suitable for a diversity of applications within the automotive, furniture, appliances and consumer electronic markets.”
