Exhibitor interview: Takimsan Machinery

In our first exhibitor interview for the Compounding World Expo Europe 2023, we spoke to Baris Eyigoz, General Manager, Takimsan Machinery. 

Takimsan Machinery are producers/exporters of Planetary Extruder Machinery and its spare parts located in Istanbul Turkey with international agents and offices in Taiwan, India and UAE. 

Planetary Extruder Machinery has a beneficial effect of the production of granules. Better plastification allows to use more CACO3. Therefore, Planetary Extruder Machinery reduce raw material costs. 


What do you think sets your company apart from your competitors?

Our effective Planetary Extruder Machinery has a reasonable price and acceptable quality. We have after-sales service 7 days 24 hours. Our technical team in Turkey is able to solve all kind of our client’s problems in a short period of time. Our location is one of our another advantage to serve our services better from Europe to the Far East.

 

Are there any new technology developments that your company is working on at the moment?

We have laboratory machinery which we are using in our Research Department. We are accepting new materials from our clients to check the alternative production possibilities. Another of our laboratory machinery is in Politechnika Gdańska University Poland.  Gdanska University also uses our laboratory machinery for new technology developments and share information with us.

 

What are the biggest challenges facing the industry today and how can this be overcome?

After the Pandemic the world learn sustainability is very important. There are several problems the producers are facing. Most critical is the lack of skilled labour and employment. Nowadays delivery terms are like 1 and 1,5 years for most of the well-known European Producers. China is not an alternative production source for companies anymore. As we are also producers always make investments in our manpower and skilled labours. Therefore our delivery terms are quite short as 3 months.

 

How do you see the sector developing in the next five to ten years?

The plastic sector will be growing as the population of the World still significantly rising up. It will impact the gain of new players in the sectors. New players and new technologies are good for healthy business habitat. The competition will birth new ideas and new challenges.

 

What are you most looking forward to at this years’ show?

Of course, new clients, and new partnerships but besides AMI is the right place to meet with our existing partners and clients as well. Germany is also an important host for Plastic Sectors players. Our expectation is to meet new customers from North America as well.
