Speaker Interview: Onur Özden, Erkinel
Please share some background on yourself and your company
I hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master's degree in Automotive Engineering. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in business development, strategic planning, and process optimization within the automotive, extrusion, and packaging film production industries. My expertise includes managing application and development projects focused on extrusion line control systems, data processing, and visualization. To further expand my work and explore new opportunities, I founded Erkinel, where I aim to share my knowledge with various companies and continue advancing in this field.
How does your technology stand out in extrusion line control systems?
We have developed an advanced Active Management System specifically designed to monitor and track events and data across multiple extrusion lines. This system differentiates itself by providing comprehensive real-time data processing, in-depth analytics, and robust reporting capabilities. Unlike passive management systems such as SAP or ERP, which rely on periodic updates, our solution continuously gathers and analyzes data, enabling immediate responses to issues and optimizing overall production efficiency. It is important to note that our Active Management System does not compete with SAP or ERP; rather, it complements these systems by integrating data from the machine's control systems and, when necessary, adding additional devices to enhance functionality. Furthermore, we specialize in modernizing entire lines with the latest control technology, ensuring that even older systems can benefit from our advanced solutions, helping our clients remain competitive in the demanding extrusion industry.
What can attendees hope to learn at your exhibition booth?
At our booth, attendees will experience a live demonstration of our Active Management System, designed to monitor and track events and data across multiple extrusion lines. The system showcases how real-time data processing, comprehensive analytics, and reporting capabilities can optimize operations, increase efficiency, and reduce downtime. We will also present application videos illustrating the system's real-world impact and provide examples of the detailed reports it generates. This hands-on experience will give attendees a clear understanding of how our technology enhances production management, setting it apart from traditional extrusion line control solutions.
What are you most looking forward to from the expo?
We are excited to engage with industry professionals and potential clients at the expo, as it provides a unique opportunity to showcase our innovative solutions in action. We look forward to demonstrating how our Active Management System can transform
production management across multiple extrusion lines by offering insights into real-time data processing, analytics, and reporting. Additionally, we are eager to exchange ideas, learn about the latest trends and challenges in the industry, and explore
potential collaborations that can further drive innovation. This expo is a valuable platform for us to not only present our technology but also connect with others who share our commitment to advancing the extrusion industry.
Onur Özden will be speaking on Day 2 at the Plastics Extrusion World Expo Theater.
