We had the pleasure of interviewing Kane Rasner, President of Advanced Blending Solutions, a leader in auxiliary equipment specializing in blending, material handling, and drying solutions for bulk materials.

Kane shared a success story about enhancing a client's production efficiency and discussed the company's commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the sector.

Can you provide a brief overview of your company and the products/ services you'll be showcasing at the event?

Advanced Blending Solutions is the leader in auxiliary equipment specializing in blending, material handling, and drying solutions for all bulk material applications.

What recent trends or developments in the industry are you most excited about, and how do your products/ services align with them?

There has been a monumental shift towards sustainability in the industry in the last few years due to increasing pressure of environmental groups on the use of plastic and plastic products. I love this for two reasons: I love our planet and want to see it survive and continue to flourish. Whether or not the arguments of the groups opposing plastic products are backed by a solid foundation of research and understanding, they are forcing our industry to be better. Reason number two is that this push fits exactly into the value that ABS brings to the market. Our products in most cases allow our customers to reduce their overall waste during plastic processing and reduce energy consumption during the transport of materials within facilities.

Could you share a success story or case study demonstrating how your products/ services have benefited a customer?

One of my favorite success stories showcases the power of precise blending. We had a customer making a bag product with a high failure rate due to tight tolerances of a slip additive that would either not allow the bag to open (if not enough slip was present) or allow the bag to open too easily (with too much slip introduced). ABS transformed the line to a top producer with little waste with our feeding technology replacing an antiquated batching system.

We can be found at booth E1129, where we will have video displays of our equipment in action.

What are your company's goals for the future, and how do you see yourselves contributing to the evolving industry landscape?

With our strong engineering ,R&D department, and consultative sales managers, ABS is poised to continue serving the changing needs of the industry. Staying at the forefront of innovation has been a pillar to our success, so we will continue to invest heavily into new solutions and equipment to solve problems that arise as new products develop.

What are you most looking forward to at this year’s show?

I look forward to participating in the educational experience this event is recognized for, reconnecting with familiar faces, and forging new connections within the industry.
