Please share some background on yourself and your company

I started my career in the wire and cable industry, first in telecommunication cables and next in electronic as well as low voltage cables in technical, operations and general management roles. Subsequently I moved to the custom compounding industry with commercial responsibilities, most recently as Director of Marketing for the Vinyl Division of Teknor Apex Company.

Having worked at Teknor Apex for over 20 years, what have been the accomplishments you’re most proud of?

Leading the expansion of LS FRPVC FireGUARD and launching of LS HFFR HalGuard product lines, both of which have made significant contributions to the growth of the business are some of the accomplishments that have given me personal satisfaction.

What upcoming developments within the industry do you think will bring about the most change?

The focus on sustainable products will require new approaches for innovation in raw materials, formulation technology and processing technology, areas which will bring about the most significant changes in the compounding industry.

What are you most looking forward to from the expo?

I am looking forward to seeing the technical and business developments over the past year that have been driven by the focus on sustainability.
