Jules Roelofs obtained a master’s degree in molecular sciences (Wageningen University) and a PhD from Utrecht University on heterogeneous clay-based catalysts. He worked on novel clay nanocomposites at Engelhard Corporation. In 2004, he joined Holland Colours, developing additive and colour solutions for various polymers and their applications. Here he has held various responsibilities in R&D and Management and from 2019, the position of Global Innovation Manager. Topics of interest include new green(er) materials, recycling, CO2 emissions and sustainability reporting.
